Friday

A few charity bazaars happening. The LGBT center in Gan Meir hosts the Adam le Adam charity bazaar. Come get some 2nd hand stuff (clothes, homewares, books, small appliances, etc.) or bring your own to get rid of for a good cause. Hours are 10:00 – 18:00 on Friday and 10:00 – 19:00 on Saturday. Money donations also accepted on the spot and everything goes to provide support to the local LGBT community.

Outside in Gan Meir itself there will be a hippie free market / party for the Matanot Facebook group, a group that connects people for giving or receiving free objects, skills and even hugs. You can bring free stuff or pick up free stuff here too and also catch some live music or join a workshop. Bring a free gift if you’re coming. From 12:00.

In Ganei Hataarucha, Bitan (building) 11, the annual Tel Aviv rape crisis center bazaar is happening Friday and Saturday. A massive annual event featuring a huge amount of discounted clothes, accessories and shoes for men, women and children, as well as books, homewares, toys and more, all donated by local stores and designers. All profits go to the Tel Aviv Rape Crisis Center and hotline whose volunteers do amazing work supporting and empowering victims 24/7.
Entry to the event costs 10NIS, which is also donated to the Crisis Center.

Hours are: Friday 10:00 – 18:00 and Saturday 10:00 – 20:00

The organisers are looking for volunteers to help in the days before, during and after the event. Hebrew may not be necessary.
