I know you’ve been missing the event listings here and now that the DIY Tel Aviv event listings app is finally out and I have some time to breathe, I can go back to giving some weekly highlights here.
Tonight (Monday)
Today is World AIDS Day and there are a bunch of free live music events around town called Rock4Life.

From 21:30 at Cafe Bialik – Rotem Bar Or, Sun Tailor and Jane Bordeaux.

Zaz Festival of performance art opens at the Tel Aviv Central Bus Station. Goes on till Monday. Full details here.

The awesome System Ali play Tmuna Theatre. Standing gig, so you can dance. Tickets are 50NIS. Call 03-5611211 to order or brave the crappy Hebrew only Tmuna site to get tickets in advance, as their shows often sell out.

Friday
SANDR (the new way of saying Shelly and Rotem) play at Levontin 7 from 22:00. Tickets are 30-40NIS.

Saturday
A designer pop-up store opens at Masaryk 17 from 12:00- 20:00. It will be open until Friday after, featuring clothing, accessories and even temporary tattoos. To see pictures of the sort of stuff that will be available, visit the Facebook page.
