The refugee clinic at the Tel Aviv central bus station building is a 100% volunteer run humanitarian clinic offering free medical services to the country’s growing population of predominantly African asylum seekers. They are in desperate need of volunteers both long and short term to help run the clinic an dprovide medical help. Obviously long term is preferred, but don’t let that put you off if you’re only here for a short time and want to volunteer. Although their main interest is in people related to the medical professions (medicine, nursing and pharmacology students) they do need all kinds of volunteers, even without any medical background. Volunteers are needed to do all kinds of jobs around the clinic, so even if you’re just a caring person who can be there, talk to people and offer emotional support, they need you. They are having a few orientation days over the next couple of weeks so if you’re interested in volunteering, sign up for the events through this form and choose a date to attend. Note that this form is set up for people with medical backgrounds, but the manager of the clinic stressed they need everyone, so just pick an option at random and come anyway. The official English session is this Friday and there are two more sessions in Hebrew if you can’t attend this one (maybe someone can translate for you).
The sessions will take place at the refugee clinic:
Hatachana Hamerkazit Hachadasha (new central bus station) level 5, shop 5721

Who can we contact for more information about this?
I think the best thing to do is go to the orientation.
