As part of a series of jam sessions by notable local musicians, tomorrow night at the East West House (Dr Erlich 16, Jaffa) there’s a night of Middle Eastern music meets modern jazz. Tomorrow it will be Arik Strauss on the piano, Tibi Golan on wind instruments and Kobi Hagoel on Middle Eastern drums and vocals. I’m not sure how much it is, but I doubt it’s going to be expensive. If you’re feeling (multi)cultured, then head on down.

I would like to participate, which would have
to do?
Hey,
It’s a performance jam rather than an open jam. If you’re a professional musician, I guess you can just go to one of the events and then speak to the organisers afterwards (sorry, I don’t actually know them personally!).
If you’re looking to jam somewhere, then maybe try Levinsky Jam at the Levinsky Park on Fridays from 13:00 onwards. It’s mostly for drummers, but sometimes other instruments can join in.
