Join peace organisation, Shovrim Shtika (Breaking the silence) for a study tour of Hebron, leaving from Tel Aviv at 8:00AM and returning at around 3:00PM.
This is a rare opportunity to see with your own eyes what actually happens in some of Israel’s most conflict-torn areas, where the settlers, with the help of the army and the government, rule supreme over the local Palestinian population.
Shovrim Shtika is an organisation founded by former Israeli soldiers serving in the second intifada. It aims to expose the darker sides of the conflict in order to make Israelis and the world aware of what’s going on.
The tour will most likely be held in Hebrew, but you will be able to easily get someone to translate for you if you don’t speak Hebrew. Israelis speak very good English in general.
