Parties in Tel Aviv this week (6-7-8-9 June)

partyObviously, this week is all about Pride, and it’s not all about men only and women only parties. If you’re looking to celebrate the event in a more multisexual manner, then you should check out my list of Tel Aviv Pride parties plus the few more parties I added to the blog later on. But, there is more to Tel Aviv than Pride this week, so here are a few more options.

Tonight (Wed)

There’s a Max Techno night at the Breakfast Club from 21:00. Free entry. This is actual techno – the hard stuff, including acid techno and hard techno. None of that slower tech-house and Berlin style techno people tend to play around here when they say “techno”, which may explain why this night has moved from its Saturday slot to a Wed night, where it’s not such a big deal if the place isn’t so full. If you’ve been craving actual techno in this town, then this is your chance to actually hear some. Just don’t expect to be surrounded by masses of people, because it’s not hugely popular here.

Tomorrow (Thurs)

Legotek DJs are taking over a bar called Chechka at Rothschild 28 from 23:00 till very late. Really fun tech house and deep house. Mention Legotek on the door to make sure you get in.

***

Radio EPGB has a night of indie, electronic and eclectic alternative music. Free entry.

***
Anna Loulou Bar has bassy electronic goodness from DJs Walter & Hectic. Free entry all night long. Starts at 21:00.

Friday

Wobble Strike at Levontin 7. Dubstep all night long from Submob Crew, Red Eye Familiya and Plug In, each representing a different city in Israel, battling it out to see who’s best. Doors at midnight, costs 40NIS before 1:00, more after.

***

Detroit-style techno / house plus more house at the Breakfast club with Terrence Parker (Detroit), Chaim (Bpitch Control) and Yotam Avni. Starts at 23:30. Not sure how much it costs, but probably not that expensive (40NIS max?) and probably less if you arrive early.

***

DJ Yogo at the Shesek Bar. Free all night long.

Saturday

The excellent Adi Lev, godmother of the Israeli drum & bass scene is playing at the Shesek with the Infuse Crew. It’s free all night. Awesome.
