This year’s Tel Aviv pride parade is on June 8. The day will open at 10:00 at Gan Meir for speeches, some live music and stuff like that. The march / parade itself will start at 13:00 heading towards Gordon Beach where there’s going to be a giant beach party. But we all know all about that, don’t we?
Here are some cool parties on and around the day itself that you may not know about already. I’ve gone for the more alternative ones, obviously, with one or two exceptions.
If you’re a woman and in town already, getting ready for Pride, then you can head down to the Breakfast Club on the 2nd for “Bug 2000”, a pride month opening party for women with hip hop, house, dance, etc.. Starts at 21:00, costs 30NIS till 22:00 and 40NIS after and if you get there before midnight, you’ll get a free chaser (shot of booze). Ages 23+

Also on the 7th there’s a 100% free multisexual 90s party for anyone who wants to celebrate pride. Music is 90s acid house, electronica, house and techno. Starts at 23:30 at the Maxim Club. Come in your best fluoro clothes if you so choose.

And now for a couple of big ones. First up, it’s hardly alternative in any way, but it is one of the most famous parties in the Tel Aviv calendar. the FFF Shirazi Tel Aviv pride afterparty. Get your tickets here and get ready for ultimate madness.

The official Pride women’s party will be on the 9th, the day after the parade, so you can have a day to chill out (or another day of partying) in between.
Starts at 20:00 at the Comfort 13 club and costs 60NIS. It will be headlined by DJ Ipek from Berlin, with local support from Maya Jakobson, David Pearl and Tami Bibring.
