It’s been brought to my attention that The awesomely named Halo Halo, this rather unusual London pop-dance-folk-weirdness band, is going to be playing a gig in Tel Aviv on March 3rd along with Colin Min Sai. You may not have heard of them (I hadn’t, before I was contacted by their drummer) but they have a really fun, unique and unusual sound, so you should become acquainted. They’ll be playing at Levontin 7, which is intimate and smoke free and has good sound to boot. They’re also playing in Jerusalem on the 29th of Feb at the Uganda.
Halo halo, by the way, is the Filipino version of an ice cream sundae. I got hooked on it on my recent trip to the Philippines
