Vintage clothes sale this week

Tel Aviv vintageThis Friday (July 16th 10:00-18:00) and Saturday (17th 10:00-20:00) there’ll be a big (in Tel Aviv terms) vintage clothes sale at the Lima Lima club (corner of Lilinblum and Nahalat Binyamin). A good number of shops will be having stalls at the market, plus there’ll supposedly be access to private collections. This time it’s all about summer clothes.

Entry is 10NIS, which I don’t particularly like, as it means if you don’t find anything you’re like, you’re down some money. These things tend to be a bit hit and miss in Tel Aviv – some of these markets are amazingly fruitful, while others are so shit, you’ll resent having paid even the tiniest amounts to get in.

Still, 10NIS is not very much at all and there’s supposedly going to be a lot of stuff there. At least some of the shops having stalls there are usually quite cheap. The invite actually states there will be “special discounts”.

I’d say this is handy if you can’t be bothered (or don’t have the time) to look around all the shops and want it all in one place (and if there are indeed decent private collections to look trough, it’ll definitely be worth it).

Obviously, my guide has a list of the best vintage shops in Tel Aviv already, so if you did have the time, you could still take a wander round the shops.
