If you’re stuck without anything to do all day, you can head down to the Breakfast Club from 8:00 – late and be an extra in an Israeli student film. Leave your name and number with the people at the Facebook event for more information.

Friday

Is it World Recordstore day already? Two different record fairs are happening. One at HaEzor from 11:00 – 17:00 and one at Uganda from 12:00 – whenever. New, used, rare. Uganda is free and HaEzor costs 10NIS. Both claim that they will have dozens of stalls, HaEzor will also have some record players and other kit for sale. DIY Tel Aviv’s recommendation: grab your wallet and do both.

The Tel Aviv Critical Mass bike ride is happening again, as it’s the last Friday of the month. Arrive at 13:30 with your bike if you want to join them and ride around Tel Aviv en masse. If you’d like to decorate your bike first, you can join the Pimp Your Bike crew from 12:30 and make your bike into something beautiful. As this is a Burning Man inspired crew (Pimp Your Bike is a camp at the annual Burning Man event in Nevada), you’ll need to bring some decor to share with others and a rubbish bag to help clean all the mess you create in the process.

Sunday

The weekly Sorcerer’s night is on as usual and has not sold out yet. If you can afford the ticket price, you should go at least once. Believe me, it’s actually worth it if you like David Blaine style mentalism. You can get tickets right here.
