The annual Animix festival of cartoons, animation and comics returns to the Cinematheque for four days of workshops, exhibitions and screenings. Many of the screenings and some of the workshops are suitable for non-Hebrew speakers, but alas, the festival’s crap website is, once again, only in Hebrew. You can visit it anyway, though. International animation shorts will be shown on Friday and Saturday (though some might not be in English, so it’s worth checking with the Cinematheque).
*
Sukat Halal screening – Acid Moon and Botnik live @ Gagarin from 20:00 – A screening of what appears to be a music documentary about the Sukat Halal psychedelic rock festival, followed by two live acts in the same style. Free.

Wednesday

Beats Antique live @ The Block from 21:00 – San Francisco based tribal fusion act brings its full circusy stage show to headline a lineup full of great local acts. On stage: Echo & Tito, Light Child Project, Kur D and FyaKeepah. House & techno in the Squat room. Tickets 150NIS from here.
