This should be exciting. Allow me to be a bit dull and just cut and paste the text they sent, because there’s quite a lot of it:
‘Hamerkazit’ (THE STATION)
A Creative Enterprise at the Old Central Bus Station
In cooperation with ‘Minshar’ present:
‘OPEN FOR RENOVATIONS’
On this coming Saturday March 5th, a building action will take place
at the Old Central Bus Station edifice and its street-level piers.
Seeking to create a unique cross-culture meeting zone, to drum up the revitalization of the place reaching out to its inhabitants.
This event is based on a continuous study prepared by the Milky Way Group for the engineering administration in the department of strategic planning of the Tel-Aviv Municipality.
We tried to carefully outline a site-specific narrative to overcome the grim state that the residents of the area – refugees, immigrants, merchants, artists, prostitutes, drug addicts etc. find themselves in.
