There are some good parties in Tel Aviv this weekend, as usual.
Thursday (tomorrow night):
Darren Emerson (of Underworld!!!) is playing at Zizi alongside a host of great residents to celebrate the club’s 4th birthday. Starts at 23:00, tickets are 50-70NIS.
Swingotopia at the Container at the Jaffa Port from 21:00 till late – dress up in your 20s-40s garb and dance to electroswing. You can even have some food as it’s a restaurant as well as a venue. Free entry all night.
4th Grade Party at the Maxim Club from 23:00 – Cheesy 80s music and new wave to celebrate resident DJ’s Tal Argaman’s birthday. Fun fun fun crowd of people with an average age of early 30s. Tickets 40-60NIS.
Cheesecake – the straight friendly gay night is back at the Breakfast/Milk from 23:00 with fun tech-housey stuff and related materials. It’s packed and smoky but the music is good. Free before midnight, after that it’s 30-50NIS.
Friday…
Bass Invasion at the Sublime – dubstep heaven with two lines joining for a big night (Kidz up Late and Kill the bass). 23:00 – morning and tickets are 40NIS before 1:00, more after. Loads of good DJs.
Oh and there’s also this.
And have you noticed that I’ve resurrected the calendar on the sidebar and filled it with some more party options (mostly regular events)?
