It was chucking it down today and I needed to go across town to a class, so I took the car, rather than the bicycle. Never again. OK, so it was raining so hard, traffic was not nearly as bad as it can get (I bet a lot of people stayed at home), but I spent over 20 minutes looking for a place to park. What a nightmare.
The car has a resident’s permit too. I hate to think what people have to go through without one. I’d forgotten how bad it is to drive and park in this city. Far too many cars here. I’ll definitely be taking the bus next time if it’s raining and definitely taking the bicycle any other time.
