In just under two weeks I will be heading back to London for a stint. The guide is almost done – the writing is done and all that’s left is to put the finishing touches on the final “design” (I’m a shit designer).
I have been looking around me more and more and realising all the things I will miss here. This, even without counting the people (and cats) I will miss.
I’ve decided to make a list of all the things I will miss about this place. When I’m back in London I will make a list of all the things I’ve missed about being there. Then I can compare the two.
So here we go… I will be adding more things to this over the next couple of weeks, I’m sure.
Totally random things I like about Tel Aviv:
The weather
Everything being so close together
being able to cycle everywhere and it being a pleasant experience and not an annoying chore
The sound flip flops make on a tiled floor
The Muazin’s prayer call reaching my flat in Florentin from the big mosque in Yafo
The chocolate cake at Florentin 10
My Spanish teacher
My yoga place
The beach
The pizza place in Florentin (the good one)
Weiss’ famous poppy seed cake
Pancakes and shakshukas at the Casbah
chai at Sab Kuch Milega
Kaymak Cafe
Just wondering, which pizza place you were referring to, bazilicom or guisepes?
Giuseppe is my favourite.
