There’s a very interesting tour happening on Saturday. If you’re not an Israeli citizen and are interested in local politics and activism, check it out. It’s still not too late to sign up. Attached below is the info text:

Windows is a joint Israeli-Palestinian organization that encourages grass-roots action for peace and justice. As part of our commitment to engaging a wider community, we organize alternative tours and lectures that explore a variety of issues in the region.

On Saturday we’ll be touring Nablus, home to the largest refugee camp in the West Bank. Join us to learn about the ancient and modern history of this important city and about life in the Balata Refugee Camp. The tour is dedicated to raising awareness of human rights violations, to encouraging informed dialogue and discussion, and to exposing a wider group of people to the realities and challenges of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

PRICE: 250 NIS

LUNCH: We will be eating at a falafel restaurant, a local favorite in the camp. The cost of lunch is covered by the ticket price.

REGISTRATION: Please email marie.pasquier@sciencespo.fr by Thursday, November 7.

TOUR FOR INTERNATIONALS ONLY. Unfortunately, it is illegal for Israeli citizens to visit Nablus, which is in Area A.
