The Black Night initiative is the protest’s response to tonight’s White Night events. You can join in on all the fun by meeting at 21:30 at Rothschild Blvd., dressed in black if possible. From there, there will be a march towards the south of the city, visiting all kinds of alternative events on the way. People will be bringing drums and tents to carry around with them (tents are the protest’s symbol now, drums are pretty self explanatory).
From 21:30 at the corner of Chlenov and Matalon St. (Neve Shaanan neighbourhood) there’s a protest party bringing together both African asylum seekers and local neighbourhood residents in what is hopefully going to be a peaceful and interesting event with music, conversation circles and movie screenings.
At the end of the night (3:00) there’s a giant sleep in in Rabin Square. Bring a sleeping bag and feel free to attach some sort of message to it, if you’re feeling particularly active.
