Solidarity with Taybe this Saturday

Taybe is the third biggest Arab city in Israel with a population of over 35,000. Up until recently, the vast majority of its municipal land was privately owned. Over the past few years, the government has been inceasingly eating away at the ownership of this land by slowly but surely expropriating land for various “national projects”.

This Saturday (13/11/10) there is a solidarity Jewish / Palestinian tour and protest in Taybe. You can join and learn about what’s going on, while also doing something towards making things better.

Rides will leave Tel Aviv at 1:00PM. To sign up, call Alma on 0542292474
There are also rides leaving from Jerusalem. Call Daniel on 0546236609

Approximate schedule is:

2:00-4:00PM arrival and tour
4:00-5:30PM protest (human chain)

Please note use of the word approximate. This is a left wing protest – ’nuff said.
