If you’re feeling politically curious, Why not join a political study tour to Hebron this Friday? It’s organised by the Sheikh Jarrah Solidarity people and Breaking the Silence and is free, though you need to register for it in advance and they’ll welcome donations to cover costs. Leave at 8:00AM from Tel Aviv central train station (by the Sixt car park), return at 15:00. The tour will introduce you to the reality of living in occupied Hebron, taking in some of the most controversial places in the city. Please note that these tours are not always pleasant, as settlers can be quite rude. Also, sometimes the army decides to screw things up by not letting the tours into Hebron.
The tour will be held in Hebrew, though it should be easy enough to find someone to explain things to you. Bring water, snacks and an ID.
For more details, post on the Facebook event page or register via their online form (in Hebrew).
You can watch a (Hebrew) video of a similar tour in July here.
