It’s the week where Tel Aviv’s bestest film festivals kiss. Doc Aviv is on and will be followed by TLVfest. Lots of free (and not free) screenings everywhere. Also, the usual mix of music, shopping and parties. Enjoy 🙂

A free screening of the documentary about the amazing Alaev Family, but a live show by the very same amazing family. As part of Doc Aviv. It’s at Beit Dani (Simtat Kabir 4, which is in the Tikva neighbourhood) from 19:30.

Tahat club (the word means “ass”) has a seemingly endless supply of “up your ass” jokes. This time it’s “kreplach up your ass”, which rather than being about some strange Jewish festish is actually about two very Jewish music inspired indie acts. Jewish Monkeys and Malox. Get your (new, improved) Jewish on for a mere 30NIS. From 21:00.
