Shovrim Shtika (breaking the silence) is an Israeli non-profit currently shortlisted for a Freedom of thought awards from the EU parliament. It’s an extremely important organisation founded by former IDF soldiers who want to expose human rights violations on the Israeli side and right the wrongs of past and present (and, I’m sure, future). This Friday they will be having some sort of outdoor exhibition on Rotschild Blvd. and you will also be able to meet and speak to their activists. This is a great opportunity to learn more about this organisation and the important work they do, plus educate yourself about what’s going on in the territories right now.
I’m sure there will be some fascinating talks going on, plus some bitter arguments.
Either way, it should be an interesting way to spend your afternoon.
12:30 – 15:30 on Rotschild Blvd. (Not quite sure where exactly, will update with more details when I have them).
