Israel’s 3rd activism festival will be happening this May (25-27) in Azrikam forest near Ashdod. They’re currently looking for all kinds of performers (musicians, circus artists, actors with pieces that are appropriate for such a festival, etc.) to participate. They’ll also be looking for people to lead workshops and people to help run the festival. This is a 100% volunteer run festival. The deadline for sending in proposals for art & performance stuff (and possibly workshop ideas? I’m not sure) is 20.4. I assume volunteers for running the festival will be able to sign up till much later. Email contact@activism-festival.org for details and to send in proposals. I’m pretty sure the festival will be relevant to people who speak little or no Hebrew as well, so it’s a shame the website doesn’t have any English on it.
