Windows hosts Ir Amim Lecture: East Jerusalem – A Complex Political Reality

Windows is happy to presents a lecture by NGO Ir Amim discussing:

The history and changing borders of the city, including the Green Line, the municipal border and the Israeli West Bank barrier. Learn about the the interests behind the sketching of each border.

The residency status of Palestinians in East Jerusalem, how it differs from citizenship and its destructive implications.

Political considerations determine urban planning in East Jerusalem and the effect this has on the basic needs of the Palestinian community in the city.
