Free screening of Have you heard from Johannesburg tomorrow night in Tel Aviv

activism Tomorrow night it’s dinner and a movie night at the Rogatka vegan bar. The documentary film club will be showing “Have you heard from Johannesburg” here is the description of the film:
seven documentary stories, produced and directed by Connie Field, chronicling the history of the global anti-apartheid movement that took on South Africa’s entrenched apartheid regime and its international supporters who considered South Africa an ally in the Cold War.

This will be shown free of charge at the Rogatka bar and for 10NIS you can also enjoy a South African themed vegan dinner. There’ll also be plenty of very cheap booze and a nice, politically conscious crowd. This is a rare opportunity to see this film in Israel as it’s never shown here and you can’t buy or rent copies of it locally. Starts at 20:00. The film is 90 minutes long.
