Two parties in Tel Aviv tonight…
Firstly, hipsters, take heed! The Prozdor bar (formerly in my guide and formerly in a different location) has reopened and they are having their official opening party tonight at the new location at Herzl 1. I’ve not had a chance to check it out yet, but I hear that it’s often packed full of hip young things. From 8:30PM tonight (but only losers show up early!) till about 5:00AM there’ll be drinking, DJs, dancing (though I gather the place is quite small) and a live band or two.
Not far from there at the Laika, there’ll be a Christmas-themed Boxing Day party with bassy beats and all kinds of queer craziness.
Both parties offer glorious free entry, so you can happily bar hop.
