As Sunday is a holiday, this week is busy with quite a few good parties. First up, if you’ve not checked out the Glocally night offering yet and you’re into global beats / hip hop and world music, then you can read about it here.
Now let’s carry on with the rest of them. There are literally dozens to choose form, so I’ll be brief about it.
Thursday
At the Block Club, you can hear German house sensation Dixon play his funky stuff. If you’re into fine house music, a big venue with good sound and no smoking on the dancefloor (but OK in the smoker’s lounge) then this is basically your best bet. Tickets 80NIS on the door or 60NIS plus booking fee if you buy them in advance here. Starts at 23:00 goes on till morning.

Walter from TABAC will be playing bassy goodness at the Michatronix from 22:00, around an unusual audiovisual live performance from Yokai Lab (act on around 23:00). Party goes on till 7:00 and is free. If you like tiny venues and surreal vibes then this is your party for (at least some of) the night.

Hip hop / rap night at the Sublime from 23:00 with a local rap battle and loads of local DJs and acts. Women get in for 10NIS before midnight and guys for 40NIS. 50NIS after midnight. Here’s some of what you should expect.

The Zizi are having a white party (Shavuot is the white holiday) from 23:00, not sure about the price, but it’s going to be friendly, trashy and both gay and straight friendly. Come dressed in white.
Friday
The Legotek DJs are taking over the Shesek Bar. If you want some dance bar vibes rather than full on clubbing but still want awesome tech house music then voila! 22:00 – late, free.

The Comfort 13 club will host a night of dubstep niceness from the Submob Crew guys. The headliners will be none other than:
DODGE & FUSKI (NSD, UK) // XKORE (BUYGORE, INSPECTED, UK) // CAPTAIN CRUNCH (BEST DJ DMA AWARD 2011, BUYGORE, UK). Tickets 60NIS presale from here (pick up with ID on the door) or 70NIS on the door on the night before 00:30. Not sure if there will be any at all after that. Doors at 23:30 and the event runs till 5:00.
Saturday
Hip hop lovers longing for a more alternative crowd can head down to Levontin 7 for SWAG. Doors at 00:30 goes on till late. 40NIS. On the decks are some of Israel’s finest:

The Block Club has Pacotek ( techno / tech house) with Lawrence and Discoromo, alongside Poingi (yay!) and Shay Appleberg. Doors at 23:00. Tickets 50-90NIS, depending on how early you show up: 50NIS till midnight, 70NIS till 1:00 and then 90. Gonna be gooood.

The Maxim Club has an 80s kitsch / dark 80s night (4th grade party) from 23:30 – 6:00. Lots of hits, new wave, goth and cheese. Tickets 40NIS till 1:00, then 60NIS.
