From 12:00 at Kikar Hamedina (Hamedina Square) – Tel Aviv’s official Purim Rave, moved to this date because of last week’s rain. Super commercial, undoubtedly rammed and overly sponsored, but free and therefore probably fun.

Port Said are starting the Teder’s British urban music weekender with an event outside the bar from 14:00 where Matt Black (Coldcut) will be mixing vinyls. It’s free, so will get packed. Get there early.

Mike Skinner and Roni Size at The Block as part of the same weekender. Some old school jungle in town at last! Tickets 80NIS. More details here.

Burrrlesqua – Israel’s only active line of burlesque parties, at Bar Giyora from 22:00. Tickets 40NIS. Lots of performances from traditional to post/neo burlesque and drag. Tmuna Theatre’s A-Genre festival finishes with a part at the Anna Loulou Bar from 22:30. Free. Ram Orion will DJ appropriate music to the Occupation / Kibbush theme. Of course, also check out the festival itself, which is running now, until Saturday at Tmuna Theatre and has lots of sound art, performance art and other great things.
