Parties in Tel Aviv 12-14/12/12

Another week, another load of good parties in Tel Aviv. This time, starting tonight as there’s cool stuff going on.

Tonight (Wed)

White Trash, Black Pride at the Shlag zane (Yehuda Halevi 43) – American Rock, funk, 70s grooves, hip hop and college music. Great vibe. Not that many events of this sort of music happen in Tel Aviv, let alone in clubs aimed predominantly at cool people and not…well… Starts at 22:00. Free or cheap (not sure).

Thursday

Andreas Henneberg will be your German DJ for the evening at this big holiday bash by Wild Bunch and Michatronix. Lots of great local support of the electronic sort. Advance tickets cost only 40NIS and you can get them from the Michatronix, the Miznon restaurant, the Plazma clothing store and the Deli bar (all in the guide). You can also get them online here. A festive party 4th Grade party celebrating 10 years in business. It’s happening at the Bootleg club, with 80s, 70s disco, new wave, Eurotrash, pop and Italo disco. This time, there’ll be a special live show by Corinne Alal. Starts at 23:00, tickets 70-80NIS. If you’re quick, you might be able to get some for 50NIS here.

Reggae, dancehall and roots at Levontin 7. Doors at midnight, the first 30 people through the door get in for free. After that it’s 40-50NIS. Ages are 18+ for girls, 20+ for boys. They may ask for ID.

Big big party at The Block to celebrate one of Israel’s favourite alternative music radio stations, Kol HaCampus (106FM). 4 areas each celebrating a different style of music from alternative rock to electronic and random. Also live music. Lots of influential local DJs on. I recommend this if there are a few of you with different music tastes who all want to go out together. There will be something for everyone here. Starts at 21:30, goes on till 7:00. Tickets 70NIS on the door or 50NIS in advance here or from Abu Dubby Hummus.

Anna and Sonia birthday party at the Deli bar– techno / tech house from the lady behind Pacotek and her equally talented friend. From 22:00. Free.

Tupac Vs Biggie – nostalgic rap / hip hop night at the Sublime. Lots of local DJs playing all the classics from 23:30. 40NIS till midnight, 50NIS after.
