Carnival on Michal Street in Tel Aviv on Friday

I know we’re all sad about the police being dicky and not allowing us to have our fun in Florentin and the bad news is that this little block party on Michal St. on Friday is not going to be a suitable alternative as it will start at 14:00 and finish at 22:00. The good news is that it will totally be an alternative to the big, commercial party the council is organising, though, of course, there’s nothing that says you can’t do both and enjoy both the great live bands in the council’s ones and the great vibe at this resident-organised one. I have no clue what the music will be like, but the crowd and vibe will be good and it’ll be much more authentically Tel Aviv than that other one.
