This Thursday (26/1/12) at the G Spot club in Florentin (Salame/Shalma 40) there’s yet another awesome Cafe Gibraltar related nights of amazing world music. In this case, African, celebrating Tel Aviv’s old and new African influences.
DJs playing music from Ethiopia, Zimbabwe, North Africa and loads more, plus live drumming from Ghana, real Ethiopian coffee and all kinds of surprises. starts at 22:00, goes on till 1:00, supposedly, though that sounds a bit early to me. Either way, come early as you won’t want to miss anything plus you’ll be able to get in for 30NIS before midnight if you hit attending on their Facebook event page. Otherwise it’s 40NIS.
