The first Festilooper is on this Thursday at the Ozen bar from 20:00 – late. “What’s a Festilooper?” I hear you ask, well, it’s a cross-genre music night where the one thing all the performers have in common is that they’ll be using a looper live on stage. There’ll be rock, blues, electronica and folk, all using a looper somewhere in the mix.
Lots of surprise acts – people from some of the most fun bands in Israel – Uzi Ramirez (from the Ramirez Brothers) Eyal Talmudi (Oy Division / Balkan Beat Box) and loads more people. Should be wicked awesome. There’ll also be some film showings, handmade posters for sale and all kinds of interesting stuff.
Tickets cost 40NIS in advance and 50NIS on the night.
The organisers of this event are planning on making it a legendary tradition. Just think – you could tell all your mates you were at the first one!
This was the weirdest show I’ve been to yet. Throughly enjoyed every moment of it.
