Tonight at 10:30PM, the former frontlady of Israeli alternative rock sensation, Poliana Frank, will be performing solo material from her upcoming new album at the intimate Rotschild 12 bar.
Poliana Frank was a long long time ago and since then Ellyott (then known as Sharon Ben-Ezer) has made even more of a name for herself as a DJ on the Tel Aviv nightlife scene and beyond, usually playing electronica. Her stuff has always been kicking, sung in both English and Hebrew and dealing with issues of gender, sexuality and politics. She is very openly gay.
This should be a wicked show.
Free to enter, though food and drinks are expensive. Show is likely to be quite short and show times are often flexible here, but it might get very busy so if you want a good spot, get there early.
