Not far from there, at the Ozen Bar from 17:00 – 2:00 there is a big live music festival fundraiser for Hagada Hasmalit, a lefty cultural centre that’s going to be reopened soon. Loads of great local bands – punk, rock, singer-songwriter stuff. If you want to learn about Israeli alternative rock in one go, then go there. Tickets 50NIS till 21:00, 40NIS after. Might sell out. From 20:30 at Hahashmal 33 (the basement under the Africa Bar) there’s going to be a mad contemporary dance performance, followed by a sick techno / d&b rave. Free or very cheap.
