Here are some things that are not quite parties but are cool to do this weekend.
Friday
The Tel Aviv water fight is back! From 15:15 in Rabin Square. Come with your water pistols / guns, water balloons, spray bottles and whatever. Leave electronics at home, leave passers by out of it. All the details are here on the event page.

The Pasaz bar is having an art / design / fashion sale on Friday from 10:00 – 17:00. There’ll be music, including a live show by Bill & Murray. Price range from 40-690 NIS. A good place to swing by and stock up on original young designer clothes, local art prints and things like that. Free.
***
Got some stuff to get rid off? Want to pick up some random crap (clothes, books, household goods) for free? Head down to the Shpagat Bar from 12:00 – 18:00 for the free market. No profit, no money changes hands. Everything left over will be donated to an organisation helping the homeless. Free. Obviously.

Saturday
It’s the Dalai Lama’s birthday! If you would like to celebrate it with fellow Tibet supporters then head down to the Yarkon Park from 17:00 – 20:00 for music, dancing, blessings and a communal vegetarian meal. This is a communal event so bring some vegetarian food to share, soft drinks, eating utensils, blankets to sit on and the usual picnic stuff.
The arrow in this picture shows the location of the event in the park (behind the end of Habarzel St in Ramat Hachayal). For more information and questions, post on the event page.
