Another happy summer’s week in Tel Aviv. If you’re short of things to do, check out the listings below for some inspiration. Lots going on this week, as always. More events will be added to our smartphone app throughout the week, so look for DIY Tel Aviv in the app store and on Play 🙂
As always, you are more than welcome to support DIY Tel Aviv by buying the full city guide from this very site.
Sunday (today)
TAMI intro night from 20:00-21:30 – The Tel Aviv Makers (TAMI) are holding an open evening where you can come and learn about the space (Tel Aviv’s hackspace) and the stuff you can do there, including carpentry, 3D printing, sewing, soldering, welding etc. Free to visit on the open evening and free on other nights too. Kibbutz Galuyot 45.

Sorcerers Night – Magic & Comedy Evening @ Cafe Yafo from 20:00 –
This weekly night of English language magic, illusion, mentalism and comedy is the only one of its kind in Israel and is brilliantly entertaining. Israel’s finest magicians (some of them international award winners) perform close up magic at your table and there’s a full stage show too – different every week. Cafe Yafo is a kosher (dairy) Italian restaurant with tasty food, set inside a beautiful old building.
Tickets are 100NIS. You also need to order a minimum of 60NIS at the table. Still, for a special night out it’s totally worth it as the show is beyond amazing. The event often sells out, so best book tickets in advance.
