Singer / songwriter acoustic folk @ Tsuzamen. Two shows, priced differently. Sivan Shtolzenberg at 20:30 (25NIS)), followed by Lior Singer at 22:00 (20NIS plus free album).

Friday

Garage sale @ Uganda from 10:00 – 17:00. A bunch of local alternative fashionistas selling 2nd hand clothes from their private collection, as well as CDs, fanzines, books and all kinds of other things cool geek girls are likely to like. Free to attend. If it rains, the event will happen next week instead.

The annual designer fashion sale in aid of the rape crisis centre / helpline. Friday 10:00 – 18:00, Saturday 10:00 – 20:00, Bitan 11, Ganei Hataarucha. This is a huge fashion bazaar with loads of local designers donating new clothes, shoes, homewares and more. Stuff for women, men and children including rare samples. Cheap cheap prices. Everything goes to help this awesome cause, including your 10NIS entry fee. They are always looking for volunteers to help set up, break down and help out during the event. Much of the job can be done without speaking Hebrew, although their sign up page is in Hebrew. Shifts actually start on Wednesday before the event.

Another sale happening is an affordable art sale in aid of the Levinsky Garden Library, a community library / centre aimed at the disadvantaged populations of Neve Shaanan and other south Tel Aviv neighbourhoods. Lots of artists, established and up and coming. All pieces will be sold at 1500NIS a piece. Fri and Sat 11:00 – 18:00 at Artspace, Shvil Hameretz 6.

Some sort of Florentin art fair @ Bar Kayma from 12:00 – 16:00. Details in the event are still somewhat sparse, but it won’t hurt to swing by and see what’s happening.

Sharoomba, the city’s coolest beautician, is having an end of year party from 15:00-18:00 at her beautiful place on Hachashmal 12. A good opportunity to have a drink and some food, plus maybe book yourself in for a manicure, pedicure or anything else of that sort.

A triple bill @ Levontin 7 from 22:00 with Haxxan, The Orions and Dagger
