Tuesday

Not big on that early morning rave trend, because I hate getting up early so it seems like (expensive) torture, but if you have a day job and want to fit in a “yogalates” class and a 2 hour rave with some good local DJs before you start and get some coffee and breakfast on the house, then go here.

*

Kuli Alma bar celebrates its first birthday with Lola Marsh, TV Out, Yogo and Eyal Rob. Free. from 19:00.

*

Garden City Movement and Alek Lee live double bill @ Rothschild 12 from 21:30. It will be packed for sure as these guys are good and it’s free. Get there early if you want a good spot.

*

Live hip hop jam @ Breakfast Club from 22:30 with a whole load of great big local names. Only 10NIS to get in.

Holocaust Day’s eve.

Thursday

A punk fundraiser @ Koro for the Zimmer after school centre for south Tel Aviv’s refugee kids. 30NIS to get in and see some awesome local punk bands. From 20:00.

Friday

I’m not sure exactly when World Record Store Day is, but Tel Aviv seems to think it’s all over the weekend, meaning you get a whole load of fun in the name of vinyl consumption. You can start by enjoying this huge event at Levontin 7, from 12:00 till late. Loads of bands playing live, DJs spinning and a vinyl record market. Among the names are Amit Erez, The Orions, Men of the North Country, RPS Surfers and many many more. Free.

*

Document & Dive @ Gagarin from 21:30. Generic names but nice music. 30NIS.

One Reply to “Things to do in Tel Aviv 12-19/4/15”

  1. Slight correction on Miscast 2 – It’s not the result of a workshop, this is an original comedic musical revue being performed at a professional level. 60 shek with some discounts available. Second/final performance on Sunday evening. Should be good but I’m biased (I’ll be backstage).
