This Saturday, Tel Aviv is hosting farmers and foodies from Southern Israel whose lives have been affected by the current troubles. I shan’t use this particular post to rant about my opinions of the situation, because it shouldn’t matter. If you’re into food (and music and art, apparently there’ll be some performers and artists from the South coming up as well) and want to sample some local produce while helping out some folks and enjoying a fun event at the Tel Aviv port, then head down to said port on Sat from 9:00-18:00 where you’ll be able to buy fresh produce as well as all kinds of home made delicacies (cakes, bread, conserves, cheese, you name it). Take home something yummy.
