“When is this year’s Tel Aviv zombie walk?” I hear you ask. Well, nobody asked, but I’m going to tell you anyway. Yes, it’s a form of activism. Zombies have rights too!
This year’s zombie walk is just before Purim and it happens to be on my birthday, March 6th (a good time to send me presents in the form of booze money, which is how this whole guide came about in the first place, but that’s another story). I’m giving you plenty of time to buy your make up, shred your clothes and practice your zombie walk and cries of “brains!”. It will set off from the corner of King George St. and Ben Zion Blvd. (near Dizengoff Center). Gathering time is 21:00. After that it will amble up the hill along the Blvd. then along Rothschild Blvd. all the way to Herzl and then…fun! The organisers are saying that this will be a highly photographed and televised event, so now’s your chance to amaze everyone with your zombie awesomeness. Go.
