Yehudit Levin solo exhibition @ Bezalel Contemporary Art Gallery

Event Details

Influential Israeli artist Yehudit Levin is showing new works (paintings, photography) including works of political art drenched with violence. Some are works depicting large events that made the news (events on the Marmara during the flotilla, Israel’s operations in Gaza), and others are based on or inspired by her experiences volunteering for Machsom Watch, documenting the everyday interactions of Palestinians and Israeli soldiers at Israel’s many checkpoints.

These works mark the beginning of the artist’s 6th decade of creating art.

Gallery opening hours:

Mon – Wed 11:00 – 16:00

Thu 16:00 – 20:00

Fri – Sat 11:00 – 14:00

Free.

If you speak Hebrew, there will be a gallery talk with the artist and curator on Saturday 13/5 at 12:00.
