A bit late in the day, I know, but if you’re stuck for something to do tonight, why not head down to the Maxim club for a dark 80s night? Our Darkness is on again and tonight apart from residents Danny K and Tal Argaman you get to hear Miki Chain who was the resident of Tel Aviv’s famous Penguin club (the old one that was around back when I was a lot younger and played this sort of music, not the new one that plays electronica). So put on your black eyeliner, boys…or actually, don’t. Tel Aviv’s not really a dress the part sort of place, though obviously if you want to goth it up, you’re more than welcome to. Doors open at 23:00, tickets are a mere 30NIS before 1:00 and 40NIS after. Goes on till 6:00, meaning it’ll probably get busy around 1:00 or 2:00.
Oh yeah, there’s going to be a raffle among the first 100 people in for a pair of tickets to tomorrow’s Echo and the Bunnymen gig in Tel Aviv.
