It’s definitely the week for unusual things around town. I just found out about a place called “The Open house for Indian Culture” in Florentin (Vital 2, first floor) and they seem to have an Odissi (classical Indian dance) recital on Saturday, accompanied by a vegetarian Indian meal (snacks, apparently). The recital will be performed by an Israeli male dancer, Yuval Nataraj, who apart from living and training in India for 7 years is a former dancer of Israel’s Bat Sheva company. Doors open at 8:00PM and snacks will be served and the show starts at 9:00.

I’m really curious to see what this place is like. Must be great if you’re missing India as much as I am.
