Oct 2nd is the international day of solidarity with farmed animals. As this falls on a Saturday this year, Tel Aviv’s animal rights activists will be holding their annual solidarity march for farmed animal on the Friday.
Meet on the corner of Rotschild and Maze at 11:30AM tp march down to Dizengoff Square. The event will finish early enough for people to be able to catch public transport home.
The organisers are keen to invite everyone who cares about the wellbeing of animals, not just vegans and vegetarians. If you want to see farm animals treated better, please consider coming to show that you care and make a point. If possible, please avoid wearing black this year – they are trying to move away from the animal rights activist stereotype and carry a more optimistic message.
