Wicked designer team Frau Blau are saying “Bye Bye” to summer with a big summer sale at their Gan HaHashmal store, as well as their studio and sale store (all listed in my guide, of course 🙂 ). Prices will be as low as 49NIS and as high as 399NIS. I’m sure there’ll be some bargains to be had. In fact, most of us mere mortals can only ever afford to shop there doing the sale, so the time is (almost) now to do your seasonal shopping.
Frau Blau used to have a lot more mad, punk and Vivienne Westwood inspired things in stock, but the sad reality of Israel’s relative conservative tastes when it comes to clothes have made them tame things down a bit. They still make some very cool and timeless pieces using a very cool printing technique on shirts, dresses, tights, etc. plus slightly unusual, understatedly sexy takes on classic evening and every day wear. Great for high-fashion grown up clubwear and sstreetwear and semi-smart but quirky and fashionable office and evening wear. Check out the dress printed like a church window and the famous pull-apart stripper-like jeans.
