First up, we have the Peace Festival, gracing the Yarkon Park from 12:00 today till 22:00 on Saturday for 3 days of happy hippie stuff, all free – DJs, live music, workshops, a cannabis museum and all kinds of other goodies. You can bring sleeping bags and sleep there. There will be cheap food on site but you can bring your own food and drink, but not glass bottles.

It’s Thursday, so there’s another Platform event in the Jaffa port. 3 live acts, starting at 20:00. Also, of course, lots of art, design and performance. Free. More here.

Live music for lunch at the Gagarin Club where local band, The Giant Lizards from Planet Nibiru will be joining forces with a whole load of local underground and alternative musicians and bands and playing all kinds of interesting versions of their songs. Doors at 14:00, bands on at 15:00. Goes on till 17:30. Not sure how much this costs. Can’t imagine it would be that much.

These guys (Avihu Pinhasov and the rhythm club) will be playing a free gig at Shalvata at the Tel Aviv port from 15:30. It’s in the port, so don’t expect it to be underground or alternative (or drinks to be cheap), but the music will be fun and free.
