This Thursday from 18:00 – 1:30 on the 5th floor of the Tel Aviv central bus station building (yes, that’s what I wrote), Tel Aviv’s most surreal and bizarre festival is kicking off for the third time. People will be selling fanzines, comics and independently published books, there will be rock, punk, noise and related musical genre performances from some cool local bands and there will also be art, performance art, film, spoken word, free hair cuts, on site tattoos and loads of weird unexpected stuff. Plus, it’s in the central bus station building, which is pretty weird and unexpected in itself. Come and get lost in the central bus station building with us. If you want to sell fanzines, just turn up early with your stuff and some means of displaying it (a blanket or a table or something) and set up peacefully in the designated space by your fellow artists/publishers. It’s free. If I get my shit together, I might even bring some copies of the guide to sell.
