I’m meant to write about the party listings for the weekend, but I’m finding it kinda difficult to think about parties when my government is engaged in another pointless war where the only objective is to win 4 more years in power for the worst politicians ever to defile the Knesset with their fascist presence. People on both sides are being hurt for nothing and the Israeli government is ignoring calls for a ceasefire to serve its own ends. They don’t give a shit about the people in the South of Israel who are paying the price for their irresponsible warmongering.
I’ll do the party post later on, mostly because there is at least one fundraiser I’ve seen that’s important to support regardless. But for now, you should know that there is an anti war demo planned for this evening at 19:00 outside Metzudat Zeev (King George St. opp Gan Meir) where people will be calling for negotiations and a ceasefire.
