Tomorrow (Monday) from 18:00 at the Tel Aviv Cinemateque, there is a screening of “Water”, a joint Palestinian/Israeli project that invited 10 directors to create a short film around the theme of water. There’s a mix of genres, including documentaries and the whole event is 3 hours long, including a conversation with the directors, which I think is at the end. The films are in Hebrew/Arabic but I am pretty sure there are English subtitles, because of the way it’s advertised and the fact that they are sending the films to international film festivals but it won’t hurt to ask, because I never got a definite answer. The event is free but you need to register in advance by mailing: waterproject2012@gmail.com so this might be a good time to ask 🙂
