If you’re into community gardening, then you might want to get in on the open day / tour of the little community gardening project at Harav Kuk 42. Tomorrow from 14:30-17:00 the volunteers will be showing people around the garden and telling its story. It’s a very small garden, but a really sweet one and well loved. This tour can be the perfect alternative answer to the whole Houses from Within thing happening this week. The place is run by volunteers not just from the neighbourhood it’s in, so if you’re in Tel Aviv for a longer time and want to join in and help them grow stuff then you’re welcome. The tour is free. It might be held in Hebrew, but I’m sure you’ll find someone to translate or at least answer questions. The place itself is close enough to the beach to allow for a stopover on the way to or from the beach 🙂
