English language lecture about East Jerusalem, urban planning and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict in Tel Aviv this Wed.

ActivismWindows – Channels for Communication is a joint Palestinian/Israeli organisation working to (and I quote): “promote justice through educating youth to promote critical discourse through media and other forms of activism”. They’re running a series of English language lectures for people who want to learn about various aspects of the conflict. The next lecture is this Wednesday and will deal with the subject of urban planning in Israel, using public parks in East Jerusalem as an example of how the conflict is manifested there in all its might. Should make for an interesting insight into things you may not otherwise know about. Here is a link to the event page.
It’s at 19:00 at their base which is on Lilienblum 29. I’m pretty sure it’s free, but even if it isn’t, it won’t be very much.
